Course Description

The new Pete Dye designed, Carlton Oaks Country Club once again became the pinnacle of golf in San Diego County in 1989. The meandering creeks, matured trees and its majestic lakes have taken the spectacular beauty of Southern California and incorporated the qualities of modern golf course architecture, added style, grace and excellence to create this legendary course. More recently in 2003, the yardage was increased to 7,225 yards creating a more challenging course. The five strategically placed tees make the course either a gentle course for beginners or a challenging difficult layout for the championship caliber player. Water comes into play on most holes with 3 lakes and 2 creeks gently winding through the course. Nature in the form of matured trees, ponds, and waterfowl blended with classic Dye architecture make Carlton Oaks the ultimate golfing experience in San Diego County.
