A Tournament Rich in Heritage
Born in 1968 thanks to visionaries like John Brown and A.S. “Lou” Smith, the Junior World began with just 475 players representing 20 U.S. states and six countries. Today it has bloomed into a global cornerstone of junior golf—recently rebranded as the Uswing Mojing Junior World (Amateur Golf).
Beyond offering world-class competition, the event emphasizes cultural exchange and international camaraderie—an ethos captured in their motto: fostering “cultural understanding through the game of golf” (Amateur Golf).
